Stop Smoking June 2015
Now is always the right time to stop the smoking habit for good. With the price of a packet of cigarettes in the UK today, it’s a very financially lucrative decision to make right now!
If you are a 20-a-day smoker and your brand is Malboro Lights or something similarly costly, then you will find yourself with over saving over £250 a month or over £3000 every year once you Stop Smoking.
And that’s before you even think about the most important consideration – the improvement to your own health and well-being when you stop!!
If you are ready to Stop Smoking June 21015, then I am offering a special opportunity for the Certificate in Hypnosis Course that I am running 18-21st June. As part of that course we do a live session for the group with a smoker. For someone who is willing to come along on Sunday 21st June at 2pm in the afternoon for a couple of hours and be a demonstration in front of a small group of students , then I am willing to offer a “substantial discount” from the normal price (£200) of a Stop Smoking Session.
If you are that smoker or know someone who might be, then please let me know.
And if you are interested in the the Hypnosis course, then we still have spaces left.
Why use hypnotherapy to stop smoking?
In truth, there is absolutely no need whatever to use hypnotherapy as thousands upon thousands of people simply go “cold turkey” and kick the habit just like that.
However, there are also many thousands of people who manage to kick the habit for a week, a month or even a year (or several of either) and then find themselves having “just one cigarette” over a drink or a meal or just because they fancy it, or because there is an upset in their life and before they know it they have started the smoking habit again.
For many people, smoking has become such a habitual part of their life that it’s connected to everything you do…you find yourself smoking cigarettes you didn’t even want to, and not even liking most of those that you do smoke, but you can’t stop the habit permanently….and it costs you a fortune, the smell is terrible, the taste isn’t at all good…
Who am I to say all of these things?
Well, I am an authority because I was a smoker for over 20 years before I decided to stop. Except there there was a small problem when I decided to stop… and that was that I couldn’t!
Actually I could stop for a few days, a few weeks and a couple of times for a few months, and then a glass of alcohol, an emotional or some other trigger and there I was… smoking again!!
I must have quit smoking more than 10 times before I finally stopped with hypnotherapy.
Using hypnotherapy, we can cut the roots of the habit where they begin, in the unconscious mind, and boost your willpower to stop those cravings and feelings of need. And that was the start of my journey to learn hypnotherapy, and I can safely say that was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.
What do I need to do if I want to stop smoking using hypnotherapy?
The first thing to do is to ask yourself if you really want to stop, and why you are stopping. A good hypnotherapist will ask you these questions when you speak to them on the phone. If you really want to stop is a good question because some people want to cut down their smoking habit or just smoke the occasional cigarette and hypnotherapy can’t help with that.
Why you are stopping is a critical question. Are you stopping because your partner, parent or friend wants you to stop or are you stopping because you want to? All lasting motivational change comes from within i.e. when we do something for ourselves. Personally, I don’t take clients who are not stopping for themselves. I would rather they saved their money as the session is unlikely to work until the motivation is strong enough within the individual.

How much does a stop smoking hypnotherapy session cost?
Costs vary between therapists so there is no set figure. I charge £200 for a one-off session which generally lasts somewhere two to two and half hours – this is less than the cost of one month’s smoking habit, however for the particular scenario on Sunday 1st February there is a substantial discount on offer is you are ready to stop now!!
