This has been created to help you to have more control over your thoughts, emotions and behaviours in your everyday life and thus become more mindful, so that you can experience the benefits of that mindfulness in your everyday life.
Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment, the here and now, and results of scientific studies indicate that mindfulness is a key element in happiness. By focusing on the here and now, many people who practice mindfulness find that they are less likely to get caught up in worries about the future or regrets over the past, are less preoccupied with concerns about success and self-esteem, and therefore live more fruitful and productive lives.
In recent years, mindfulness has become very popular and is successfully integrating into mainstream medicine. Scientists have been able to establish links between the practice of mindfulness and improvements in several areas of emotional, psychological and physical well-being including
- Stress reduction
- Blood pressure and heart disease
- Sleep quality
- Pain management
- Anxiety issues
- Depression & many more
Mindfulness techniques have also been proven to help generate a greater sense of general well-being. And being mindful also makes it easier to appreciate the pleasures in life as they occur, allowing you to become fully engaged in activities, which then helps to create a greater capacity to deal with any adverse events.
This recording downloads in a zip file. In that file there are two recordings; an intro and the main hypnosis. I recommend you listen to the whole recording the first time (though there is nothing to stop you listening more often) and after that focus on simply listening to the hypnosis.
Please note with all mp3’s on this website the download is automatic when you pay through paypal which is fully automated. If you choose offline payment, and send me a cheque or pay through my bank, then I will send you the mp3 via a transfer company (probably Wetransfer). However it does cause extra time and admin at this end as it is a non-automated process and so costs a £1 more. I’d much rather you took the cheaper option 🙂
