Hypnosis for Anxiety & Depression

Hypnosis for Anxiety & Depression

It is estimated that approximately 25% of the British population experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year. A combination of mixed anxiety and depression is the most common mental health disorder in the UK. Altogether depression is said to affect an estimated 350 million people around the world, with fewer than half of those affected receiving treatment. Sadly though, that 350 million is probably a very conservative number. (and especially so in 2021)

Whilst there are many different forms and diagnoses of depression, essentially depression is a serious mood disorder that can cause severe symptoms that affect how people feel, think, and handle everyday activities, such as sleeping, eating, or working to name just a few. In the UK, symptoms need to be present for at least two weeks to receive a medical diagnosis of depression.

What a series of hypnosis sessions aims to offer is

  • Helping you learn to reduce and/or control feelings of anxiety, stress, and sadness –
  • Improve your coping skills
  • Helping you to address negative behaviours and negative self-talk
  • Helping you to install positive self-talk and affirmations
  • Helping you establish goals and targets for your road to recovery

Hypnosis for anxiety and depression is not a magic wand. It is however a very tangible route to recovery that takes place over 3-6 sessions. If you would like to book a free consultation to talk about this then please click here  and book a time and date.

If you would like to go ahead and book an initial block of three sessions then you can do so here.

I also work with hypnosis using regression therapy in certain cases, and am happy to discuss this further.
